UK to conduct open interviews for Center for Community Outreach positions

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 12, 2017) — The Center for Community Outreach (CCO) at University of Kentucky is looking for driven and community service focused students to join the CCO as coordinators or program-specific executive members. As a coordinator or executive team member, students will assist in developing programs and initiatives by planning events with the director of the program. They will also make a difference with volunteer work around the Lexington community and leave an impact on the campus.

The CCO will be one of the first organizations on campus to host open interviews next week for students interested in positions or if students just want to come to learn more about the CCO and its programs.

The open interviews will take place on Thursday, Sept. 14.

The two locations and times are as follows:

• 10 a.m.-1 p.m., The 90 Room 226
• 4-7 p.m., White Hall Classroom Building Room 246

The interviews are casual. Candidates are asked to bring a resume or a list of experiences, skills or ideas that they have that would enhance the Center for Community Outreach.

“We’re extremely excited to host open interviews for our coordinator and program specific executive teams,” said Chelsea Carter, director of Public Relations. “I can’t wait to meet students that are eager to learn more about the CCO and how they make a difference and impact in the Lexington community.”

Students interested in a position who can not make the open interviews can still apply at coordinator position or program specific executive position online.
