Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 25, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin today made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Deborah Burton, Erika Skula, Dr. Brett Oliver, Dr. Janet Mills and Timothy L. Olsen have been appointed to the Telehealth Board.

  • Deborah Burton, of Lexington, is telehealth program manager for KentuckyOne Health. She will represent third parties and serve for a term expiring July 15, 2020.
  • Erika Skula, of London, is president and CEO of Adventist Health System’s Manchester Memorial Hospital. She will represent third parties and serve for a term expiring July 15, 2020.
  • Dr. Brett Oliver, of Georgetown, is a physician with Baptist Health. He will represent health professionals and serve for a term expiring July 15, 2020.
  • Dr. Janet Mills, of Louisville, is a pharmacist with the University of Louisville Hospital. She will represent health professionals and serve for a term expiring July 15, 2020.
  • Timothy L. Olsen, of Wilmore, is director of psychological health with the Kentucky Army National Guard. He will represent health professionals and serve for a term expiring July 15, 2020.

The Telehealth Board is composed of 10 members consisting professionals in health care, technology and government. The Board oversees the Telehealth Network which was created to provide better access to medical specialists not available in some communities.
