LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 29, 2017) – The Greater Louisville Association of Realtor (GLAR) recently announced the recipients of their annual awards at the organization’s annual meeting on Sept. 14. The awards were presented to local Realtors of distinction in the following categories:
Realtor of the Year Award – Greg Taylor
Realtor of the Year is awarded based on Realtor Spirit, Local, State and National Association activity, business and education experience, and civic activity.
John R. Carpenter Award – Lamont Breland
The John R. Carpenter Award honors a GLAR Member(s) who serves the community above and beyond the call to duty and goes to great lengths to serve civic or charitable interests.
Rookie of the Year Award – Felecia Holmes
The Rookie Award is given on participation at GLAR Rookie Realtor sessions and production.
Affiliate of the Year – PJ Moore
The Affiliate of the Year Award is selected by GLAR’s outgoing president and given to an affiliate member who positively impacted GLAR during that Presidential Year.
President’s Awards – Joe Hayden
The President’s Award is given by the president to the person the president feels has been truly outstanding in their contributions to the board during that presidential year.
It was also announced at the annual meeting that GLAR has elected Dave Parks as president and John Weikel II as the president of Metro Search, Inc. – the entity that oversees the Association’s Multiple Listing Service. Several GLAR members who have maintained continuous membership for 40 years and 25 years were also recognized at the event.
