NEW YORK, NY. (Oct. 11, 2017) – Viamedia, the largest independent cable TV ad management company, today named Tom Walsh as its new senior vice president of advanced advertising strategy. In his new role, Walsh will oversee, develop and define the future of the company’s digital, addressable and cross-screen advertising initiatives. He most recently served as Senior Director, Strategic Relationships for Comcast Advanced Advertising, where he managed top clients including Comcast, Warner Bros. Studios, MGM Studios and Music Choice.

In his new position, Walsh is responsible for managing, identifying and developing solutions to complement Viamedia’s current product portfolio, as well as enhancements to the company’s existing offerings. Walsh will work alongside the sales and technology teams to execute on objectives, oversee and coordinate product development and manage relationships with key strategic partners on behalf of the organization. He will be based in Viamedia’s New York City headquarters and report directly to Lieberman.

Walsh has 18 years’ experience in ad-tech, starting at DoubleClick in 1997 where he worked through the dot-com boom and bust, building some of the foundations in Advanced Advertising that have helped shape the industry today. He has also served as VP of Sales for WPP and Co-Founder & Managing Director at the business advisory firm ESIrisk.
