A California-based logistics company plans to invest $15.5 million on a new state-of-the-art warehouse in Louisville and hopes to boost its workforce by 120 by 2022.
DCL Logistics President Dave Tu told Insider that after leasing a facility in Louisville for three years, the company has decided to construct a facility because it is experiencing continued growth thanks to a booming e-commerce sector.
DCL employs about 30 at its Louisville operations, 7100 Trade Port Drive, but the company has bought 14 acres — at 6819, 6825 and 6901 Enterprise Drive — about a five-minute drive from the airport and plans to move into the new facility in summer 2019.
