Link-Belt Cranes VP of engineering to retire; successor named

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2017) — Vice President of Engineering Don Moore has announced his decision to retire from Link-Belt Cranes, effective Dec. 31.

Moore began his career at Link-Belt in 1977, accepting a position as an associate design engineer in the Tower Gantry Crane Product Group at Link-Belt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He then moved to the Lattice Boom Crawler Product Group, eventually being promoted to senior design engineer.

Richard Shultz has been named vice president of engineering at Link-Belt Cranes, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Melvin Porter, Link-Belt Cranes’ CEO and president, made the announcement at the company’s headquarters in Lexington, Ky.
