The Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors (LBAR) has named Justin Landon as the next CEO.

Landon previously served as the vice president of government affairs for the San Antonio Board of Realtors. Landon was chosen after a nationwide search and will join the local association in April.

“Justin will be responsible for leading the association to the next level, building on the solid foundation and momentum achieved under the leadership of former CEO Elaine Hangis,” said John Groft, LBAR 2018 president.

The local association has a strong record in education and technology, and Landon has pledged to continue this prioritized focus to help realtors succeed. As the new CEO, Landon will be working with dedicated volunteer leaders, community partners and more than 3,100 realtors.

Before becoming a part of the realtors family, Landon spent over 10 years working in the U.S. Congress.

Landon is a graduate of the University of California-Santa Barbara and grew up in a multi-generational realtors family. He has served the realtors organization at the state and national level and brings with him a breadth of experience in association management.

Landon with his wife and two children are excited to move to the Bluegrass state.
