LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 20, 2018) — Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream, a super-premium ice cream manufacturer located in Louisville, has added an additional 3,000 s.f. of manufacturing space to house a blast freezer, walk-in refrigerator and storage freezer as their partnership with Piazza Produce grows in the Kentucky region.

The expansion was needed as the super-premium ice cream brand will be available throughout the new Omni Hotel in Louisville.

Bernoulli’s can be found at the Falls City Market, Neighborhood services on the dessert menu. Half pints will be available in room service and Bernoulli is making the ice cream for Bob’s Steak and Chop House. Bernoulli has been added to the menu at Porch Louisville in the Marriott, Sway restaurant in the Hyatt, and we are adding retail scoop shops in the Louisville area as well as throughout the state.

The husband and wife team of Brian and Allysan Comstock have said this expansion will also include adding employees in the upcoming calendar year. Recently, Bernoulli announced the addition of the Bristol Bar and Grille and Cuvée Wine Table to their lists of customers. Additionally, scoop shops and restaurants in Mount Sterling, Bowling Green, and Hopkinsville are serving Bernoulli’s exclusively. This expansion will allow the company to keep up with demand and be able to store bulk ice cream more efficiently while actively pursuing distribution points to other hotels, restaurants and grocers in the region.

“Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream is a super-premium craft ice cream manufacturing business with accessible price points,” said Brian Comstock, one of the founders. “This idea started over 30 years ago and we started putting it into action in January of 2014. By March we were making and sampling ice cream at our home with commercial equipment and in September 2014 we moved into leased space at the Bluegrass Corporate Center in Jeffersontown. Our niche is working with chefs and caterers to make custom flavors to complement their menus.”

Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream is distributed through Piazza Produce & Specialty Foods in Louisville. In addition to this distribution channel, Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream can be found at Houchens’ Crossroads IGA and PriceLe$$ stores in Louisville and Bowling Green; ValuMarkets, Falls City Market, Prospect Party Center, Spoonful of Sugar Café in Mt. Sterling; The Wild Ramp Farmers Market and Gritt’s Farm in West Virginia; as well as in the Horseshoe Southern Indiana restaurants and in specialty grocery stores throughout Kentucky.

The Bernoulli brand is owned by CAM Industries LLC, and was founded by Brian and Allysan Comstock, both Louisvillians. The Kentucky Proud veteran-owned small business operates in the Bluegrass Corporate Center at 408A Production Court in Louisville. The production kitchen lobby is open to the public on Tuesdays from noon-6 p.m. or by special arrangements. Go to http://www.bernoullisicecream.com/ for more information.
