WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (March 26, 2018) – University of the Cumberlands has been identified as having the most affordable online Doctorate in Leadership degree program in the nation.
The ranking was created based on information from the National Center for Education Statistics College Navigator database. Schools were evaluated based on their student/faculty ratio, average graduation tuition rate, residency requirements, and concentration areas.
“We are delighted to have been recognized for offering the lowest-cost doctoral program of its kind in the country,” said Dr. Barry Vann, department chair of Leadership Studies at Cumberlands. “I am proud that our program offers students such a high-quality program at the lowest cost possible.”
The Doctorate in Leadership degree program at UC costs $375 per credit hour and offers a number of concentration areas, including business, criminal justice, education, health sciences, information security systems, and others. The program is designed for students who want to pursue executive positions in community organizations, higher education institutions, and K-12 schools. Other online programs at Cumberlands have also earned high rankings recently, such as the master of arts in clinical mental health counseling program, which was listed as most affordable in nation, and the bachelor’s in criminal justice program, which was recognized as the second-best program of its kind in the state.
