LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 26, 2018) — Jennifer Rieffer has been promoted to general manager at WDKY (FOX-56) in Lexington, Ky., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. announced on Monday.
“We are pleased to promote Jennifer to general manager of WDKY,” said Steve Marks, EVP and chief operating officer of Sinclair’s television group. “She has been part of the Sinclair team for over 20 years and started her television broadcast career at this very station. We believe that her long history at the station and deep connection with the community, advertisers and viewers make her a natural fit to head WDKY.”
“I am very honored to be leading WDKY-TV here in the Lexington community,” said Rieffer. “I started with this station in 1995; it’s my family and my home. It’s a very exciting time not only to be with WDKY, but with Sinclair.”
Rieffer has served as local sales manager at WDKY since 2013. Prior to that, she was an account executive at the same station since 1998. Rieffer holds a bachelor of science from Morehead State University.
