Leadership Louisville Center announces its 2013 Board of Directors

William Hollander elected as board chair

Bill Hollander is the new chair of Leadership Louisville Center’s board of directors.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 8, 2012) – The Leadership Louisville Center recently announced the newly elected officers and members of its board of directors, who began their term July 1.  The 2013 board chair is William H. Hollander, managing partner of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP.

Hollander has long been a supporter of the Leadership Louisville Center. He joined the board of directors in July 2009 and was a member of the 1994 Class of Leadership Louisville. As a member of the Bingham Fellows Class of 1996, he studied Louisville’s relationship with the rest of Kentucky and with his class, worked with farmers in Kentucky and Southern Indiana to promote and establish neighborhood farmers’ markets.

Other elected officers are: Todd Spencer, Doe Anderson – Chair-Elect; Teresa Bridgewaters, TMG, The Mardrian Group, Inc. – Vice Chair, Programs; Dr. Shirley Willihnganz, University of Louisville– Vice Chair, At Large; Scott Casey, UPS Airlines – Vice Chair, At Large; Kevin Wardell, Norton Healthcare – Secretary/Treasurer; Paul T. Costel, Chase – Immediate Past Chair and John Reed, Reed Weitkamp Schell & Vice, PLLC – Counsel.

Two community leaders also joined the board as directors for a three-year term.  They are: Sandra Frazier, Tandem Public Relations; and Jennifer Hughes, Deming, Malone, Livesay & Ostroff. Also new on the board are: Alice Baron as new president of the Junior League of Louisville; Richard Rowland as new president of the Louisville Urban League Young Professionals; and Phillip Robertsas new president of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL).

Moll, PNC Bank; Eileen Moore, Horseshoe Southern Indiana; Dr. Paula Pottinger, LG&E and KU Energy LLC; Carolyn Tandy, Office of Congressman John Yarmuth; and Debbie Wesslund, Jefferson County Board of Education.
