World Trade Center Kentucky announces trade mission to Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 20, 2012) – The World Trade Center Kentucky has announced a new trade mission to Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil August 22-29, 2012. Sponsored in part by the Kentucky Export Initiative, the trade mission will allow participants to gain valuable information on the growing Brazil market, meet distributors of similar products and services, and network with Brazilian business professionals in specific and niche areas.

Brazil is the eighth largest economy in the world. World Trade Center Executive Vice President and trade mission leader Ying Juan Rogers notes that “Brazil has a resilient currency and a strong domestic demand from a growing middle class; Brazil is a recognized market with export opportunities for Kentucky businesses ready to be explored”.

She added that “export opportunities for Kentucky companies include: agricultural machinery and equipment, mining machinery and equipment, electrical power equipment, safety and security equipment, medical equipment, and energy related equipment and projects”.
