The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education has granted final approval for Morehead State University to offer its first doctoral degree. Starting this fall, MSU will enroll graduate students in pursuit of a doctorate in education (Ed.D.) in education leadership. The program will have two tracks – administrative education leader and educational technology leader. Provost Karla Hughes and Dr. Cathy Gunn, dean of the College of Education, told the MSU Board of Regents at its December meeting that 175-200 students have already shown interest in the new program.
