Mullins named operations supervisor for Kentucky American Water

LEXINGTON, Ky.Kentucky American Water has appointed Kent Mullins operations supervisor for the company’s Central and Southern divisions.

Mullins will supervise the company’s meter reading operations, handle inventory control and oversee business performance in Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Harrison, Jackson, Jessamine, Nicholas, Scott, Rockcastle and Woodford counties. Mullins will report to Senior Superintendent of Operations Steven Nash.

Mullins began his career with Osram Sylvania as an industrial mechanic and spent time as avproduction supervisor, maintenance foreman and purchasing analyst. Mullins joined Kentucky American Water in 2019 as an operations specialist. He holds an associate degree in
computer electronics technology and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Eastern Kentucky University.

Mullins was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Ky., and now resides in Berea with his wife and two young children.
