The General Motors plant in Bowling Green is one of 20 GM plants being closed temporarily as the company struggles to right itself in the midst of turbulent economic waters. The Bowling Green facility, which produces the Chevrolet Corvette and the Cadillac XLR, will be closed for the entire month of January.
