Matrix Engineering PLLC has been awarded a $500,000 economic development bond high-tech grant from the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development that enables the company to expand both its operations and its workforce. Matrix, a supplier of petroleum coke feed equipment for the paper and pulp industry, will add $500,000 of its own money to the grant to expand its customer base and expects to add 20 new high-tech jobs over the next three years, with average salaries of more than $50,000.
