Early-stage company mentor wins GLI EnterpriseCorp Award

Louisville, Ky. – Greg Landon, an early-stage business mentor in the Greater Louisville region, has won the 2015 EnterpriseCorp Award. The award recognizes an individual who has provided consistent leadership and support for Greater Louisville’s entrepreneurial community.

Landon is an active mentor with local accelerator programs including Velocity Indiana, XLerateHealth and Nucleus LaunchIt, and is a board member with Greater Louisville Inc.’s EnterpriseCorp and with Venture Connectors.

“I’m very honored to be the recipient of this year’s EnterpriseCorp Award,” Landon said. “Louisville’s entrepreneurs help ensure our city’s future prosperity, and I’m proud to work alongside EnterpriseCorp and other groups and individuals who support them.”

Langdon was part of the executive team that led Efficient Networks from a venture-funded startup into a market-leading position in broadband Internet equipment, a successful initial public offering, acquisitions of several smaller firms, and subsequent sale to Siemens AG. Prior to Efficient Networks he held product development and system architecture positions in the telecom and computer industries. Langdon has a degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

EnterpriseCorp is the entrepreneurial arm of GLI, an economic development organization and the Louisville region office for the Kentucky Innovation Network.
