UofL Physicians’ Fertility Center and Urogynecology move to new location

Open house set for Oct. 14

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 6, 2016) — The University of Louisville Physicians Fertility Center and Urogynecology have moved to a new eastern Louisville location at 6420 Dutchmans Pkwy., Suite 190, in The Springs medical center. Both practices will host an open house from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14.

The Fertility Center helps women, couples and individuals struggling with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. It is a comprehensive, full-service fertility clinic specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive disorders affecting women and their partners. As part of UofL Physicians’ multidisciplinary approach, patients also have access to multiple specialists, including those in genetic diagnosis and counseling and mental health. The staff also cares for women who want to pursue fertility preservation.

Urogynecology offers treatments for women with pelvic floor problems, including prolapse and incontinence. Urogynecology treats are pelvic floor problems, including prolapse, the falling down of the vaginal wall and incontinence (leakage of urine or stool).  Treatments are also offered for women with interstitial cystitis, or painful bladder syndrome, which is challenging to treat and requires long-term, individual attention.
