Lexington’s two branches of Department of Social Services moving to one location

Will open on Oct. 12

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 6, 2016) — Lexington’s two branches of the Department of Social Services will be relocating to one site at the historic Black and Williams Neighborhood Center on Georgetown St. The Division of Adult & Tenant Services and the Youth Development Center (part of the Division of Youth Services) will open at the new location on Oct. 12.

The Division of Adult & Tenant Services and the Youth Development Center will temporarily shut down operational services during their moves.

The Black & Williams Center is located at 498 Georgetown St. two blocks west of the intersection at Newtown Pike. Both agencies will have new phone numbers when they reopen.
