Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed two Northern Kentuckians to the board of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents, according to a story in nkytribune.com.

Karen Finan of Ft. Mitchell is the president and CEO for the Northern Kentucky Regional Alliance. She will serve for a term expiring July 21, 2024; and Damon Van Allen of Covington is senior vice president and community investment officer for Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. He will serve for a term expiring July 21, 2024.

KCTCS is governed by a 14-member Board of Regents.

Eight members are appointed by the Governor and six are elected members: two members of the teaching faculty elected by faculty; two members of the non-teaching personnel elected by non-teaching personnel; and two members of the student body elected by students.
