Kentucky tax reform focus of Abramson talk at Commerce Lex luncheon

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 20, 2012) — Lt. Gov. Jerry Abramson will discuss Kentucky tax reform at Commerce Lexington’s next Public Policy Luncheon, Friday at Keeneland.

Abramson leads the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission on Tax Reform, whose challenge it is to develop recommendations to make the state’s tax code more responsive to the ups and downs of the economy, as well as to make taxes more equitable for all Kentuckians. He will speak about the future of state tax reform.

The event, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Lexington/Kentucky rooms at Keeneland, is $25 for Commerce Lexington members and $55 for potential members.
