Flottman Company names new sales executive for commerical printing

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Flottman Company has named Barry Henry sales executive for commercial printing.

Henry will be tasked with utilizing his 30-plus years of printing industry experience to grow the Flottman Company’s commercial print business. His responsibilities focus on direct commercial print sales to drive revenue and diversify the Flottman Company product offerings.

Flottman Company is primarily an informational insert printer and manufacturer of folded literature leaflets for the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer package goods, nutraceuticals and pet care industries.

Barry Henry has served as the chief financial officer and vice president of finance for Advertiser Printers Inc. in Northern Kentucky and partner companies Alliance Printing of Middletown, Ohio and Thoroughbred Printing of Lexington, Ky. For more than 30 years, Henry served as API’s operations leader, managing every aspect of the business, overseeing the fiscal operations, internal controls and account strategies. His contributions, prior to API shuttering their doors early in 2019, drove the company to over $7 million dollars in sales.

Community involvement is a priority for Henry. He donates his time and efforts to the Diocese of Covington, St. Catherine of Siena Parish and the Sierra Club of Northern Kentucky. He also served as past chairman of the board for the Printing Industry Association of Northern Kentucky and Ohio and vice president and treasurer of the Southern Region Finance Council.

Henry is currently the reigning Printing Industry Association’s 2019 Printer of the Year, awarded for his commitment, dedication and belief in printing and the printing industry.

Henry lives in Fort Thomas, Ky. with his wife Cathy for 33 years. They have five kids, two grandkids and a dog.
