LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The third annual Beverage Alcohol Retailers Conference (BARC), hosted by Beverage Dynamics magazine, took place last week and recognized the top 100 retailers in the U.S. industry.
Attendees converged upon Louisville, Kentucky, for three days of education, networking, distillery tours and conversations with vendors. The yearly conference culminated in the first ever Beverage Dynamics Top 100 Retailers banquet, which recognized the 100 best retailers — including the top 5.
Taking home top honors as the 2019 Retailer of the Year place was Twin Liquors, the Central Texas fine wine and spirits retail chain that boasts over 80 locations. Second place went to New Jersey mainstay Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, followed by Liquor Barn of Louisville, Macadoodles of Missouri, and Applejack Wine & Spirits of Colorado in fifth place.
