Lexington Marriott City Center names human resources coordinator

Chase Niceley

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington Marriott City Center Hotels announced Wednesday that Chase Niceley has been named human resources coordinator at the Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center.

“Chase has already played a key role in helping to recruit top talent to Lexington. She has a relentless pursuit of excellence and will lead our Art of Hosting to the next level,” said Barry Kuhnke, general manager.

Niceley, a native of Berea, Ky., has been living in Lexington since June and loves being in the heart of Central Kentucky. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2018 with a B.B.A. in management with a concentration in human resources.

Prior to joining Greer Companies, she interned at Lexington’s CMI Consulting, which helped her realize her passion in human resources. Although new to the hospitality industry, she is elated to have a role in such a historic and monumental event in Lexington’s downtown atmosphere and history.

“It is so exciting to be a part of something that started literally below-the-ground,” said Niceley. “This property will not only improve Lexington’s skyline, but will be a fantastic place to work and grow my career alongside some of the industry’s and region’s most successful professionals.”

When not at the office, Chase enjoys spending time with her husband, Conner, a student at UK College of Law, and their two cockapoos, Harper Lee and Cliff Hagan.
