NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Baptist Health Medical Group has welcomed a new physician to its New Albany-based Family Medicine practice.
Lilly Yusufi, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and graduate of Avalon University School of Medicine in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Yusufi completed her residency in family medicine at Baptist Health Madisonville. She was the recipient of several honors and awards for her scholastic efforts.
Dr. Yusufi joined the family medicine practice this month and is now accepting new patients. Together with colleagues Casey Bittenbender, MD; Mike Bittenbender, MD; Lauren Herrmann, MD, Melissa Baker, NP-C, Amanda Hackemack, APRN and Rebecca Rivera, PA-C, the fully staffed primary care practice is equipped to see patients of all ages.
Dr. Yusufi assumed many leadership roles throughout her time as a medical student and makes a point to actively volunteer. She is certified by the American College of Surgeons in Advanced Trauma Life Support and by the American Heart Association in Basic, Pediatric Advanced and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. We welcome her to Baptist Health Medical Group and Baptist Health Floyd.
