NEW ALBANY, In. — Baptist Health Medical Group has announced that board-certified internal medicine and pediatric physician Mark E. Bickers, MD, has joined the Family Medicine practice in Floyds Knobs this month and is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Bickers earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, as well as completed both an internal medicine and pediatrics residency there. Dr. Bickers comes from a long line of medical providers in his family, most notably his father cardiologist D. Mark Bickers, MD, and his grandfather, the late Dr. Everett Bickers, Jr.
Seeing patients of all ages, his services include everything from well checks and sports physicals, to immunizations and treatment of common conditions, like sore throat or the flu. He looks forward to building a relationship with patients and their familes.
Dr. Bickers will assume the practice of Dr. Daniel Eichenberger who will retire from the practice at the end of this year and joins colleagues Phillip Johnson, MD; Stephen Karem, MD; Bertina Lin, MD; Christina Minrath, MD; and Kristie Upton, APRN.
