Luckett & Farley adds experienced structural engineer with focus on historic buildings

Ethan Buell

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Luckett & Farley has named Ethan Buell senior structural engineer.

Buell has a real passion for investigation and renovation of historic buildings.

Buell joins the architecture, interior design and engineering firm after years as a co-partner in the Lexington-based BFMJ which was focused solely on structural engineering services. He is excited to work more collaboratively with architects.

“The building’s structure goes hand in hand with the building’s architecture,” Buell says. “The most successful building design projects require a design team effort starting at the conceptual phase of a project.”

Buell graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in civil engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering.

Outside of the office, Buell enjoys spending time with family, woodworking, playing golf and going on mission trips.
