MIDWAY, Ky. — Midway University announced today that it will freeze its tuition rates for the 2020-21 academic year to help keep college affordable in these uncertain times.
“Families and students have so many stresses right now as a result of the coronavirus and the financial strains it is placing on everyone. We know there is a lot of anxiety about the year ahead. We hope our tuition freeze helps ease any financial barrier in the planning for their college education.,” said Dr. John P. Marsden, President, Midway University. “We have always served a high need-based population of students and we want to continue to serve them to the best of our ability.”
Midway has already taken another step to assist incoming students by announcing the University would waive the ACT and SAT requirement for Fall 2020 and be test optional in response to test locations closing.
Lastly, realizing that some students might be making changes and transferring closer to home, the University is honoring all merit aid awards from the previous 2019-20 academic year.
“For students and families who may be thinking about transferring closer to home, or those students who put their education on pause last year, we will honor our merit aid offers issued to those students last year,” said Rusty Kennedy, Vice President, Admissions and Athletics. “With our tuition remaining the same and holding the merit aid awards, students and their families can easily review the offer and understand the costs.”
