LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The COVID-19 pandemic has created a new reality for today’s leaders. Personal and work lives have changed, and there’s no way of knowing when things will go back to normal – or what the new normal will look like. To help leaders rise to the challenge, the Leadership Louisville Center is increasing availability of learning opportunities beginning with free virtual micro-learning sessions and full-length Leadership Green Room courses that specifically address some of the most critical skills needed for leading in this challenging environment.
Free, Leadership Green Room Micro-Learning
Leadership development is more important than ever. To make learning more widely available, in April the Center will launch Leadership Green Room Micro-learning. These are free, hour-long or less, virtual leadership development sessions. Two nationally known facilitators will be featured for the inaugural events and new additions to the micro-learning offerings are expected on a regular basis in the coming weeks. All current and future opportunities can be found at https://www.leadershiplouisville.org/the-leadership-green-room/microlearning/.

Upcoming Leadership Green Room Courses – New Virtual Learning Opportunity
To come out of this crisis as strong as possible, it’s going to require leaders to be at their best. Two upcoming courses are particularly relevant when leading a remote workforce. On May 14-15, the Center will facilitate one of its most popular courses, Developing & Leading High-Performance Teams, now as virtual training, including pre-work and optional virtual coaching with the facilitator. As organizations adjust to a remote workforce, the need for individuals to be proactive, take responsibility, and hold themselves accountable is more vital than over. On June 18, The Ken Blanchard Companies will present Self Leadership & The One-Minute Manager, a course designed to build these skills.
Below is the 2020 calendar of Leadership Green Room workshops. Their descriptions can be viewed at www.leadershiplouisville.org/the-leadership-green-room.
