Leadership Louisville Center to present 100 Wise Women virtual events

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Together with presenting sponsor Chase, the Leadership Louisville Center and Today’s Woman magazine host 100 Wise Women events to bring successful women leaders – Wise Women – together with emerging women leaders to share perspectives on themes presented by distinguished keynote speakers.

The 2020 event series will continue to deliver inspirational leadership stories and facilitate connections to grow the circle of professional relationships for women participants but will be hosted in a virtual environment where needed.

The first event on June 24 will feature Ingrid Hernandez, president of INgrid Design. Coming from a family of designers and entrepreneurs with roots in Cuba and Puerto Rico, she founded a bilingual communications agency in 2002. The skills and talents that led to her growing a successful business are now being activated to address the current coronavirus situation and how it impacts her business operations model. Attendees will learn from the creativity and resilience of this “Wise Woman” and first winner of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) EPIC Lifetime Achievement Award.

Additional speakers for the 2020 series include a woman leader who has held several coveted corporate director roles, a regional and national philanthropy leader, and an elected district court judge.
