LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky business and civic leaders and entertainers will hold an online event Thursday afternoon to inspire discussion of lifting up state communities and propelling Kentucky toward a more hopeful 2021 while raising money for organizations that provide food and shelter aid to those in need.
UpLift KY 2021 is an event to lift up, inspire and motivate businesses and communities and propel them toward a hopeful 2021, all while helping those who have been most severely compromised by COVID-19. This event will benefit four charitable organizations that have supported Kentuckians throughout the past year by providing food, jobs, and housing. These organizations are: Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, God’s Pantry Food Bank, Goodwill Industries of KY and Nourish Lex.
Lexington-based Hanna Resource Group (HRG), a national human resource and business consultation company, is the organizer and invites all interested parties to participate virtually and hear inspiring conversations with some of Kentucky’s civic and business leaders.

HRG leaders have lined up a long list of speakers including Churchill Downs President and COO Bill Mudd, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton, Broadway star Laura Bell Bundy, and many others for a positive, forward-looking discussion about where the state and community has been, where we’re going and how we can best help those who have been most severely compromised by COVID-19.
Participants are being advised to enjoy inspiration and entertainment while raising funds for Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill of Kentucky, God’s Pantry (Feed Kentucky) and Nourish Lex.
