Business community rallies around GLI Strategic Plan

Fundraising milestone shows strong support of Now Louisville Plan

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) announced a fundraising milestone for its five-year strategic plan, Now Louisville. The new plan outlines six pillars to guide the business community’s work through 2025 including innovation, startups, clusters, talent, inclusion, and connectivity and mobility. To date, GLI has raised over $2 Million from 37 businesses to support the core initiatives of the plan.

The plan identifies numerous programs and actions aimed at growing the regional economy, talent attraction and retention, inclusion, and economic development including the development of the Career Acceleration Network, and expansion of Live in Lou.

“We are thrilled with the initial outpouring of support from greater Louisville businesses,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “This resounding support shows that our business community believes in the Now Louisville plan and is ready to do what it takes to make greater Louisville the best it can be.”
