LOVETTSVILLE, Va. — Flying Ace Distillery Blended Bourbon Cask Proof was awarded Double Gold. The blended bourbon at 90 proof was awarded, Silver.
The Tasting Awards were held over 3 days of intense blind tastings by a panel of respected and experienced industry professionals. Competition Judges cast their votes for the best spirit entries in more than 64 different categories.
They awarded medals for first, second, and third place for each qualifying category and best of show. Competition management then reviewed all judge’s scores to determine additional awards and citations for Double Gold and Best of Show. These awards are based on the highest score ratings achieved!
This year, the annual North American Bourbon and Whiskey Competition received 48% more entries than in years past.
