“Receiving KTIA Member of the Year is considered such an incredible honor,” Ramer said. “I have loved this industry from the moment I started my first tourism job in my hometown of Danville many years ago. During the pandemic, however, I doubled down on making sure that our industry voice was heard at the state level. KTIA has been such a valuable partner in those efforts, and I am deeply appreciative of this recognition.”

The KTIA Traverse Awards honor the talent, creativity and effectiveness of its members’ marketing and public relations efforts. This year’s awards also celebrated members’ extraordinary efforts displayed during the COVID-19 pandemic with the addition of new categories to showcase members’ invaluable roles while deploying creative tactics to assist their communities.
