Beginning this fall, Western Kentucky University will offer a master’s degree in Homeland Security Sciences. The program is concentrated in applications of physics, biology and chemistry to detect, quantify, prevent and decontaminate chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats. The program will feature a hands-on research component that will allow students to apply their training to real-world problems.
