An Ireland-based auto parts supplier has announced plans to locate a manufacturing facility in Kingsport, Tenn., that will bring 450 new jobs to the area within four years.
The Kingsport facility will be the first United States location for C&F, which is investing $12.5 million in the project.
C&F produces decorative and functional trim components for the automotive industry, racking for the data management industry, and small wind turbines.
The C&F Group operates locations in Ireland, Germany, Czech Republic, Philippines and China. The company’s clients include IBM, BMW and Volkswagen.
