MOREHEAD, Ky. — To recognize St. Claire HealthCare’s 60th anniversary of service to Eastern Kentucky, Stock Yards Bank & Trust has made a $60,000 charitable commitment. This funding will be used to support high-priority clinical and educational initiatives during the 60th anniversary year, which officially kicks off on July 1, 2023.
“The St. Claire HealthCare Foundation is honored that Stock Yards has chosen to commemorate our 60 years in this amazing way,” said Mindy Highley, SCH Executive Director, Community Engagement & Philanthropy. “This premiere sponsorship will truly change lives in our region.”
A cornerstone of this partnership is the creation of two academic scholarships that will be presented to students who are seeking degrees in the medical field. Each of these innovative awards is valued at $10,000 and comes with an offer of employment from St. Claire upon the recipient’s completion of the degree.
