IQT Locates Headquarters in Nashville, Plans Staffing of 900

IQT, a customer contact, business process outsourcing and information technology solutions company, has announced plans to establish its United States headquarters and create a customer relationship and technical services center in Nashville.

The privately held company, which had had its corporate functions in New York, will occupy approximately 60,000 s.f. of space in downtown Nashville and expects to hire more than 900 people over the next five years.

IQT will be hiring employees for a wide range of positions, from customer-facing service agents with postsecondary education and technical skills to people with supervisory, training and human resources experience to senior executives with backgrounds in finance, operations and enterprise technology.

“IQT has developed a reputation for solving complex problems for client companies when it comes to customer interaction,” said Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty. “Business leaders know developing and managing customers is the single most important challenge they face and the type of technically-trained workforce IQT will develop in Tennessee will have a significant impact on our economy.”

The three-year-old company, which presently has about 1,500 employees, has done much of its business in Canada and currently has operating centers in Quebec and Ontario.
