Inaugural class completes GLIs Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Fellows Program

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) and its Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Network (AML) celebrated the graduation of its first class of nine fellows last night.

GLI launched AML Fellows earlier this year to connect leaders in the industry and ultimately generate more collaboration within the advanced manufacturing and logistics ecosystem. The graduation featured a keynote address from Condrad Daniels, president of HJI Supply Chain Solutions and incoming chair of GLI’s board of directors, remarks from GLI leadership, and individual recognition of each participant.

The nine graduating fellows include:

  • Matthew Zurkuhlen, Senior Supply Chain Manager, Brown-Forman
  • Venkata (Vijay) Kamineni, Chief Executive Officer, Metals Innovation Initiative
  • Chad Keeling, Vice President, Shippers Solutions
  • Chris McCorkle, Vice President of Industrial Engineering, UPS Airlines
  • Troy L McCullum, President of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering, UPS
  • Caleb Shewman, Kentucky Sales Manager, Air Hydro Power
  • Maria Shore, Director of Product Development and Innovation, Rosa Mosaic Group
  • Maurice Stallard, II, Director, Manufacturing and Engineering, HJI Supply Chain Solutions
  • Tim Vibbert, Executive Director and Plant Manager, AP3 Manufacturing Operations, GE Appliances, a Haier Company

Over the past ten months, the AML Fellows have met monthly with different subsectors of the advanced manufacturing and logistics industry. The program days included visits to the UPS Airlines Global Aviation Training Center, Brown-Forman’s Old Forester Distillery, GE Appliances, a Haier Company, and CRG Automation.To learn more about the AML Fellows program, click here.
