The TMI 2012 Editor’s Awards for Innovation and Excellence were selected from case studies published in TMI during the course of 2012.

Mark Stegeman, Brown-Forman vice president and assistant treasurer, and Rob Waddell, Brown-Forman global treasury manager, wrote “Implementing an FX Hedging Strategy to Facilitate International Growth,” highlighting Brown-Forman’s treasury department’s efforts to “find a way to protect the business against future volatility within an acceptable risk tolerance and cost of hedging.”

“During 2012, corporate case studies featured in TMI showcased achievements across the corporate treasury community, particularly in cash management,” said Helen Sanders, editor of TMI. “Not only do award winners demonstrate innovation and excellence in the way that they have addressed their own business challenges, but by sharing their experiences frankly and openly, they are also deepening the treasury knowledge base as a whole.”

The award winners received their awards in London and were featured in the January 2013 issue of TMI.
