With the tremendous growth of Lexington’s cuisine scene coupled with the popularity of the Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau publication, Beyond Grits, a restaurant week will help solidify Lexington as a culinary destination for visitors. The event will encourage visitor and locals alike to discover restaurants they have not tried and to stimulate business and revenue for restaurants throughout Fayette County.

From French bistros to gastropubs, all types of restaurants will participate in Lexington Restaurant Week. There are no coupons or tickets to purchase or download. Restaurants will offer a special $25 prix fixe dinner dining experience, excluding taxes, drinks and gratuity, in addition to their regular menus. The week will focus on the culinary artistry of Lexington’s most talented chefs.

“This is a great opportunity to sample from the menus of some of Lexington’s most celebrated restaurants,” said Jim Browder, president of the Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It is past time for Lexington to showcase its burgeoning restaurant community to visitors and we are excited to host this inaugural event.”
