Will improve services locally
WINCHESTER, Ky. (July 21, 2014) — Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester has entered into an exclusive radiology services agreement with Foundation Radiology Group, the premier provider of diagnostic imaging services for community hospitals.
Clark Regional, a 79-bed, community hospital, has served the residents of east central Kentucky since 1917. It has more than 75 physicians, 300 employees, and 75 volunteers on its staff. Clark Regional, fully accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), is a part of LifePoint Hospitals, a leading hospital company based in Brentwood, Tennessee focused on providing quality healthcare services close to home.
“Foundation’s Elegant Radiology model will provide Clark Regional access to superior subspecialty radiologists providing final interpretations 24/7/365 and backed by a strong, systemic approach to measuring and reporting Quality along with their FRIENDS Physician Outreach Program which will allow us to enhance existing and add new radiology service lines” said Cherie Sibley, Chief Executive Officer of Clark Regional Medical Center.
Foundation Radiology brings the expertise of a large, highly-skilled team of imaging experts to community hospitals across the area. By partnering with Foundation, these hospitals are able to rapidly expand the capabilities of their imaging team in order to keep their patients local.
