A ceremony to open Kenlake’s 3D archery course will be held Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. at the former pro shop. The course includes 30 realistic targets at varying distances for all skill levels. The course will be open for free on the opening day.

The park plans to use the course for tournaments for different age groups and it will also be open to park guests year round. The course will be open during daylight hours. Archers will be able to get a pass for the course at the lodge front desk.

The course, designed with assistance from champion archer Jennie Richardson, has a paved path.

The fee for using the course will be $12 a day for adults and $5 a day for ages 18 and under. An annual pass will be offered for $75. Archers will supply their own bows and arrows. (Field tips only).
