Part of historic program at Levi Jackson State Park
LONDON, Ky. (Sept. 11, 2014) — Levi Jackson State Park will present a historic program called “A Gentleman’s Duel” on Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the park’s Mountain Life Museum.
The program will focus on the history of duels in Kentucky and will include a demonstration.
Cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children and includes museum admission.
For more information, call the park at 606-330-2130. The Mountain Life Museum, a collection of 18th-century cabins that feature pioneer life, will be open. It also has a gift shop, which includes items from many local artists and crafters. The park also has a campground.
