For pre-med students interested in osteopathic careers
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 11, 2014) — The University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) will be hosting a PreSOMA (Student Osteopathic Medical Association) conference on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Conference is free for students.
KYCOM’s SOMA) Chapter and American Association College of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) will welcome pre-medical students from across the area to experience and learn more about osteopathic medicine, osteopathic medical schools and benefits SOMA brings to medical students.
Prospective students will also be able to learn more about PreSOMA and how the organization helps prepare students for osteopathic medical school.
