LOUISVILE, Ky. (April 11, 2012) – Thorntons Inc. announced Wednesday its expansion into the Florida regional metro market of Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater. The first location is set to open in Clearwater, in the spring of 2013.
Thorntons’ strategic plan for the region is to add 15 to 20 stores in the area in the next three years. This is the company’s first foray into a new metro/state region since opening in Nashville in 2007.
Thorntons is headquartered in Louisville.
