Xerox to hire 300 in Lexington this month

Company is expanding customer care services

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2014) — Xerox is continuing to hire for its healthcare and holiday customer care ramp up, with approximately 300 open positions for permanent and temporary assignments in Lexington.

FLBB_Xerox-Logo“We have over 300 positions to fill and are looking for quality customer service people to support Xerox and our clients during this holiday season,” said Teri Morse, vice president of recruiting, Xerox. “This is a very competitive market and despite a tight economy we are finding it difficult to recruit the number of people we need.”

Xerox is expanding its current workforce in the region to supply customer care services for nearly a dozen different clients including a leading consumer electronics company and to support health insurance clients during annual open enrollment. Xerox is looking to fill the jobs by the end of the year. Applicants can visit one of the Xerox recruiting offices at 101 Yorkshire Boulevard and 745 New Circle Road Building 200 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Xerox will host a job fair from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Yorkshire facility. The first 25 in-person applicants will receive a turkey.

For those who can’t make it to this event, applicants can visit www.xerox.com/careers, choose “search for jobs related to business process and IT services”, and search for job number 14043730.
