Chairman-elect David Smith to take over in March
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 10, 2015) — LexArts board chairman John Long announced Monday that he will step down from the arts advocacy and fundraising organization several months before his term expires, Business Lexington reports.
Long said outside work prevents him from being able to devote enough time to LexArts. David Smith, the chairman-elect, will take over beginning in March and fill out the remainder of Long’s tenure, which was scheduled to run through June 30.
