Flooding, construction occurring near KFC Yum! Center

ukLOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 18, 2015) — Basketball fans heading to the KFC Yum! Center this week should arrive early, because parking and traffic could be a problem due to lingering Ohio River flooding near the waterfront arena and the ongoing bridges construction project. Finding parking could also be especially tough during the first session, with many spaces taken by people working downtown.

NCAA Tournament action opens Thursday in Louisville at 12:40 p.m., with No. 14 UAB (19-15) facing No. 3 seed Iowa State (22-5). That game will be followed at approximately 3:10 p.m. with No. 11 seed UCLA (20-13) playing No. 6 seed SMU (27-6).

No. 9 seed Purdue (21-12) takes on No. 8 seed Cincinnati (22-10) at 7:10 p.m. and No. 1 seed Kentucky (34-0) faces No. 16 seed Hampton (17-17) at approximately 9:40 p.m.

Winners advance to play on Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center.
