Grant available for adult college students 24 and up

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 25, 2015) — Adult Kentuckians who are interested in taking college classes may be eligible for a Go Higher Grant from the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA). The maximum award amount is $1,000.

The grants are available to adults at least 24 years old who are enrolled less than half-time at a participating Kentucky college. Applicants must show financial need and must U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent residents. They must also be working on their first undergraduate degree.

To apply, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit a Go Higher Grant application.
